No, I'm sorry that I didn't live in Clevland
But I have watched all the debated carefully enough to know that this guy's entry into the Presidential Race is a complete waste of time.
"because even the stupid and uninformed are given a vote"
By all means, Mr. educated & informed, please tell me how Dennis would make a good president.
The economy: Basically he's PRO-Union. Great, so let's elect Gephardt - he's more experienced & better qualified.
Energy policy: Kucinich has voted against oil and gas drilling in Alaska, the Great Lakes, the Gulf of Mexico and any other areas designated as national monuments.
Because it's better to what? Depend on Iraq for oil?
Foreign policy:
I agree with his Anti-war stance, but it's much like Howard Dean, yet less qualified.
So vote for Dean
Terrorism:
They're all (except maybe Al) VERY anti-terrorism & would keep sending "vital resources" to fight the "terror war".
All politicians will say this - would you want to be the terrorist guy?
Social Security:
Nothing overly insightful. He doesn't want the option for tax-payers to allocate their SS like it was an IRA or 401K. Fine, since we're just really giving that money to the elderly because we don't have enough.
Doesn't really matter.
MSNBC - He(Dennis) began his career by serving on the Cleveland City Council and then became the city’s mayor at age 31. During his tenure (as Cleveland's mayor), the city sank into default on its borrowing, which prompted voters to oust him after one term. Kucinich made his comeback in 1996 by defeating Rep. Martin Hoke. Kucinich’s Web site says he is “one of the few vegans in Congress, a dietary decision he credits not only with improving his health, but in deepening his belief in the sacredness of all species.”
